Southbound US-31 is closed at Sherman Boulevard Tuesday afternoon, according to the Michigan Department of Transporation.
Norton Shores Police say there are several crashes along US-31 between Sherman and Airline Road.
Police are asking people to avoid the area.
“Road conditions are extremely slippery,” the police department said in a release.
It’s unclear if anyone was injured in the crashes.
